- Design Build - 90% of our projects are from the Federal sector. A large majority of our Federal projects rely heavily on our design build team.
Our Process:
- Provide an estimate of construction costs based upon preliminary drawings supplied by the Architect.
- Periodically review construction drawings during design and advise or possible means of cost savings, alternate material types, construction methods, etc.
- Update and revise construction cost estimate based upon the construction drawings as they are being completed.
- Develop a detailed construction schedule consisting of times of commencement and completion of each contractor. Propose a schedule for the Owner's purchase of materials, assist in the procurement, prepare purchase orders and coordinate delivery of these materials.
- Establish bidding schedules, and assist in distributing bid documents and issuing addenda. Conduct pre-bid conference, and assist in responding to any questions from bidders.
- Provide services required to coordinate the work of contractors with each other and to complete the project in accordance with the Owner's objectives for time, cost and quality.
- Assist Owner in obtaining any necessary permits.
- Determine that the work of each contractor is being performed within the conditions set out in the plans and specifications and reject any work, which is not in conformance with these documents.
